Color spraying refers to the surface processing technology of attaching a specific colour of paint to the surface of an object through a spraying process in order to achieve the appearance of colouring.
In the field of cosmetic packaging, colour spraying is often used to enhance the aesthetics of bottles, brand recognition or to achieve light protection and other functions.
Matte spraying is a process of spraying a matte (frosted/matte) coating on the surface of glass bottles. By using special coatings and spraying techniques, the originally smooth and translucent glass bottles are given an understated and soft matte texture.
Advantage: Colour saturation, the tone looks more calm, suitable for neutral or light luxury style packaging. The touch feeling is delicate, and the handheld non-slip is good. Compared with glossy spraying, the matte layer is less obvious in scratches and has better abrasion resistance. Dark matte coating has better light avoidance and can protect some photosensitive active ingredients.
Disadvantages: Higher cost, as the matte process is complex and requires pre-treatment to ensure colour coating adhesion. Matte coatings are not resistant to alcohol or strong acid cleaners.

Glass bottle glossy spraying is a process of spraying a high gloss coating on the glass surface. The glass bottle is sprayed by uniform atomisation of the spray gun to give a smooth, mirror-like glossy finish.
Advantage: Mirror effect is translucent and beautiful, which can enhance the sense of transparency of glass bottles. Some of the coatings are alcohol and corrosion resistant. Can be superimposed with electroplating, hot stamping and other processes to create a metallic luster or laser effect.
Disadvantages: Fingerprints and dust are more obvious on glossy surface than matte surface. The complexity of the process is higher than that of matte surface spraying, and the cost is also a little higher than that of matte surface.

Semi-transparent spraying is a process of spraying semi-transparent coatings on the surface of glass bottles, through special coatings and precise spraying technology, making the glass bottles show a hazy translucent effect.
Benefits: Retains the translucency of glass while allowing for colour or texture overlays. Translucent colours are overlaid for a layered look. Light-coloured translucent bottles make it easy to observe liquid residuals.
Disadvantages: Not resistant to alcohol or strong acid cleaners, daily wiping need to use neutral solvents. Transmittance needs to be precisely controlled, uneven spraying is prone to mottling or differences in transmittance.
